Motivational Monday: "It always seems impossible until it's done".

Living legend Nelson Mandela once said "it always seems impossible until it's done". Although he was referring to incredibly difficult situations, such as the apartheid in South Africa, this same valuable principle can be applied to every difficulty in life.

Below are three steps on how to make the "impossible" possible.

1. Identify the goal
Anything can be a goal, even within a problem there is still a goal. Identifying what it is that you want to accomplish or change is always the first (and sometimes the hardest) step.

2. Divide and Conquer
Looking at a large goal head on can seem very daunting, to avoid backing down (or worse, quitting after you start), break it down into smaller parts. Creating a plan with smaller goals along the way, helps you to establish "little wins". Experiencing little wins on the path to achieving the "impossible" helps you to stay focused and on track.

3. Don't feed the fears
Once you know what it is that you wish to accomplish and you've broke it down into smaller, actionable parts, the last step is to stick to your plan. It's normal to be afraid of failure, especially when tackling at difficult task. The important thing is not to give into said fear.

xoxo,
