Wardrobe Inspiration: 3 Ways to Work Pastels

1. Ombré Sweaters. Ombré sweaters in various gradients of pastel colors are a perfect way to tip your toe into this trend (so to speak). Look for light spring sweaters made out of airy material and pair them with cuffed bottom jeans now, and later on with shorts as the weather gets progressively warmer.
Editor's tip: We especially love the look of this trend with acid wash denim.

2. Bright bottoms. Bright bottoms are still an ongoing trend. Tired of colored jeans? Opt for peg legged trousers instead. Offset your attention grabbing pants by pairing them them a flirty white blouse. Make this look office appropriate by wearing it with a blazer and pumps or dress if up for a night out with sexy ankle strap heels.
Editor's tip: Add a bold blazer on top if you wish to color block with your look

3. Statement Jewelry: Jewelry in soft pastel colors are also a great way to try out this trend. Add a necklace like one of the ones shown below to a rather plain blouse or tank to instantly dress up a casual outfit. Finish off the look with boyfriend jeans and heels to achieve the "effortless chic" look.
Editor's tip: Swap out the heels for cute flats or sandals to get the same look minus the hurting feet.

xoxo,

  2. Thanks for this article. I'm excited about wearing pastel pants. Question. Will they look weird on someone with knocked knees??
